THE SHOT

THE SHOT was photographed on 35mm at Teahupo’o in the moments before impact. The wave looms, heavy and inevitable, while the figures in the water appear suspended between anticipation and surrender. I was drawn to this threshold — the stillness that exists just before chaos, where scale and vulnerability become undeniable.
