The Needle

A sunrise for the memory book. Started hiking the Quiraing in the dark, only to discover mostly overcast skies when the twilight appeared. I mistakenly walked a mile past my destination and had to backtrack through the mud and muck of winter in Skye to find the trail. After a tough hike up the hill, I found my composition and whipped out the ND grad filter just in case. The fast moving weather cleared around sunrise, revealing this magnificent cinematic light
