The Concrete Serpent
Driving near Hakone, Japan, the roads are incredibly complex, but from the sky, they become organic. I sent the drone up specifically to capture this incredible knot of infrastructure. From this top-down perspective, the asphalt stops looking like a road and transforms into a giant concrete serpent or worm coiling through the landscape. I love how this specific angle turns functional engineering into a piece of striking, graphic visual design.
