I captured this photograph during a road trip from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas. I have long been drawn to desert landscapes and the quiet resilience of cacti, finding a deep personal connection to their stark, singular beauty. Baja California is one of the most cactus-diverse regions in the world, and driving through it reveals an astonishing variety that unfolds across the horizon.
