THE CLIFFS

Wind tears across the lineup beneath the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland. It was a busy, stormy dark afternoon, a who’s who of big-wave surfers sitting shoulder to shoulder in cold Atlantic water. I chose not to surf and swam with the camera instead, moving around the pack to shoot from behind the peak, as the sets unloaded on the inside.
