Leeward side quest

I love this image for more than what anyone will see. I took this shot on the north shore with one hand on my moped and one hand on the 1dx dodging potholes and on coming traffic with a 20 pound back pack on and my tripod between my legs. By far one of the most rewarding photos I’ve taken under these irresponsible circumstances. My Buddy Eli wasn’t spared either going 40 mph against the wind with his board. This memory lives up to some of the best times on the seven mile miracle that I’ve had.
