Catch of the Day

This image is from my Project Xávega. Xávega is a centuries-old fishing practice along Portugal's coast. It consists of dragging large seine nets from the sea back to the beach, a method that has long defined the rhythm of many coastal communities. This Image is of a Fisher Lady presenting her biggest catch.

Michael Rupp is born in Germany, grew up in South Africa and now based in Lisbon.Coming from a commercial background he is now focusing on Documentary Photography.
