This image was captured on the summer solstice party at the base of illumination rock on Mt, Hood in Oregon, while different people gathered on the saddle of the glacier to watch as these skilled skiers hurl themselves off of a hip jump built by the locals. as he reaches his hand out to grab the back tip of his ski, his face tells a calm but long story of practice and mastery of craft. He proceeds to stomp the trick and ride off into the distance like a boss.

I am a photographer born in Seattle but grew up in Singapore for most of my life before falling in love with photography in college. I focus on action sports art photography because i love the way movement translates.
